Happy Halloween!

Trick or Treat! That is what I will be hearing all evening from my daughters and the neighborhood kids – and it is great. I had the TLC Creative design staff develop a treat for everyone – a free Halloween themed PowerPoint .pptx template.

Download here (255K) . The ‘Happy Halloween’ text at the top was created in PPT 2010.

Activision Template

For me, diversity of clients is what keeps a designer continually engaged in the design process (and also from being ‘bored’). Here is a template developed for a company (Activision) in the video game industry. Developed for PPT 2007 with 3 different backgrounds, customized text (you can see the reflection effect on the title slide text), custom bullet art elements, etc.

Las Vegas Themed Template

Flying to Las Vegas today to coordinate the presentation graphics for a show. In the spirit of Vegas, here is a previous show’s template I developed that was in Las Vegas, with a visual Las Vegas Blvd/Strip theme.

From the top:
1. Content
2. Title
3. Full Frame Content (no logo or title area graphics)
4. Specialty slide for section dividers
5. Theme graphic (no text)

Trump Did Not Say “You’re Fired!” (Yeah)

One of the Trump University groups needed a new template to consolidate their presentations onto for a consistent and professional look. The entire project went great, although I kept hearing the famous ‘You’re Fired’ running through my head…

The final template that was approved focused on rich-elegant-professional look. Here is the Title and Content slide layouts from the template:

ThunderCats – The Template!

Always fun to work on projects that allow me to creative license to create something super dynamic. One such project was a PowerPoint template for the upcoming ThunderCats movie.

My first stop was lots of research to familiarize myself with this cartoon series I overlooked in the 80’s. I also watched the trailer for the upcoming movie and reviewed lots of the movie release info. From all this I identified the primary characters – logo – color pallet – and theme. Then I pulled in a number of images and started developing the basis for the template backgrounds in Photoshop. After a number of revisions and input from client the background art was imported into PowerPoint 2007 and all template options set. Here is the final result.

1. Opening Theme Graphic Slide
2. Title Slide
3. Content Slide

WWE Template

Sometimes a template just needs some high energy visuals. That was pretty much my direction for a project for the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) – “it needs to be great and full of energy!”

I took that direction, the official logo, some online research on (… have not followed professional wrestling a lot) and the final result was this template.

Toy Story – The Template!

Sometimes work is just fun! Who could have a bad day when surrounded by Woody, Buzz, and the whole gang from Toy Story. Animated properties are great projects because they come with great visual assets that are all high quality and professionally developed. For this marketing presentation I developed the backgrounds from assets (Hint: the clouds are Andy’s wallpaper in his bedroom) and then had lots of fun playing with all the toys making them fit without hindering the content area.

The full template was developed with 4 master slides:
1. Theme graphic
2. Title slide
3. Content slide
4. Full Frame slide
